Located amidst dense forests at an altitude of approximately 1,330 metres, the temple is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva consumed the deadly poison (Halahala) during the Samudra Manthan, turning his throat blue and earning the name "Neelkanth."Later, return to Rishikesh and witness the mesmerizing Evening Ganga Aarati at Triveni Ghat, where the banks of the holy Ganga come alive with devotional chants, glowing lamps, and spiritual hymns.
