Things to Carry

  • For a comfortable and hassle-free group trip with HolidayAlong, we recommend carrying the following essentials:
  • Bags: A good-quality 40–60 litre rucksack with a rain cover is recommended, along with a small daypack for hikes and treks. A lightweight, easy-to-carry trolley bag may also be carried where suitable.
  • Clothing: Heavy down jacket, light fleece, long track/cargo pants, full- or half-sleeve T-shirts, thermal innerwear as per the season, hoodie, raincoat/poncho, sun cap/hat, woollen cap and gloves as required.
  • Footwear: A pair of comfortable trekking/sports shoes with good grip, preferably waterproof, along with at least 2 pairs of socks. Carry floaters/sandals/slippers for use at the accommodation.
  • Personal Care: Moisturiser/cold cream, sunscreen (SPF 40+ recommended), lip balm, sanitary products, toothpaste and toiletries, wet wipes, hand sanitiser, insect repellent and body spray/deodorant.
  • Medicines & First Aid: Carry your personal medicines as prescribed by your doctor, along with basic first-aid essentials, bandages/cotton, sprain-relief spray, glucose/ORS, and commonly required medicines for headache, fever, diarrhoea or motion sickness.
  • Important Documents: Carry a valid Government-issued photo ID such as Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport or other accepted ID. Keep digital and physical copies where possible.
  • Travel Essentials: Sunglasses, mobile/laptop chargers as required, power bank, quick-dry towel, reusable water bottle, sufficient cash, and personal snacks such as dry fruits or energy bars.
  • Waste & Laundry Bags: Carry waterproof laundry bags and small trash bags to keep your belongings and surroundings clean during the trip.

Payment Policy

  • 25% at the time of booking → 25% 30 days before departure → 50% 15 days before departure.
  • For bookings made within 15 days of departure, 100% payment is required to confirm the seat.
  • Important: The booking is confirmed only after the required payment has been received. Cancellation and refund terms will be as per the applicable HolidayAlong Group Trip Cancellation Policy.
