On your arrival in Cochin Airport/ Railway Station, meet our representative. You are driven to Munnar, takes about four hours. By afternoon, you reach Munnar and check in at your pre-booked hotel. Munnar is popular for its enlivening green mountainscape. Fresh aroma of spice and tea fill in the aura and makes Munnar a perfect romantic destination. Relax in your hotel room as the rest of the day is to be spent at leisure.
Have your breakfast and proceed to Munnar sightseeing tour. The first destination of the day is Eravikulam National Park, which is a popular national park of Kerala. You have a fair chance of spotting, leopard, tiger, golden jackal, wild dog, Nilgiri tahr and other rare species. After this, you head to Mattupetty Dam, Old Munnar Town and the Town Market. Rest of the day is to be spent at leisure. Overnight stay in the hotel.
After breakfast, you check out from the hotel and proceed to Thekkady. Munnar and Thekkady are 110 km away from each other and it takes 3.5 hours to cover the journey. You reach Thekkady by afternoon and check in at your hotel. You can opt to relax or take a boat cruise in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary (rich in biodiversity, this is a tiger reserve, national park and sanctuary. Also Periyar is not just wildlife-enthusiast's treasure, but a bird-watcher's paradise). Stay overnight in the hotel.
Following a hearty breakfast session is the drive to Alleppey. The city is calm and composed, known for the backwater cruising. You reach Allepey by afternoon and as you reach you check into a houseboat. Rest of the day is to be spent at leisure. Overnight stay at the houseboat.
Have your breakfast and prepare for the drive to Kovalam. Kovalam is a town bestowed with pristine beaches. As you reach Kovalam, check into a hotel and relax. Thereafter, indulge in some adventure activities in Kovalam Beach like surfing, motor boat ride, parasailing, wind surfing etc. Behold the sun setting down, beyond the waves. By late evening return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Post breakfast the next day, you’ll head out for Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is a popular tourist destination and pilgrimage centre in India. Notable tourist spots include its unique sunrise and sunset points, the 41-metre (133 ft) Thiruvalluvar Statue, and Vivekananda Rock Memorial off the coast After having a prayerful time at the temple, you can visit Kanyakumari Beach, which offers a truly unique experience.
Take a ferry ride to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, the place where Swami Vivekananda meditated and attained enlightenment. You can also visit the majestic statue of Thiruvalluvar, which is located right next to the Vivekananda Memorial. The Memorial is built at the convergence of the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. Kanyakumari is a place where you can enjoy Sun rise and Sunset from the same point There are many other temples located in the place which you can visit and spend some peaceful time. You can do some shopping. In Kanyakumari, you’ll fi nd ornaments and other handicraft products, especially made out of seashells.
This day your tour comes to an end. Other sites worth the visit are Padmanabhapuram Palace (The palace is located inside Padmanabhapuram Fort and dates back to 1601 AD) and Archeological Museum. By late evening, You are provided assisted transfer to Trivandrum Railway Station/ Airport for your onward journey.
